Equality or Sameness

You may think that sameness and equality mean the same thing, but they are not. Equality means that all people are treated the same. Sameness refers to how people act. Animal Farm is a good example of equality because it shows how all of the animals are treated with equal respect, or not. The Giver on the other hand was a great example of sameness. In The Giver all of the people are the same. They all have similar life styles, they all have the same birthday, and none of them have feelings.
