Holy War

"Holy War" is an oxymoron because when you think of "holy" you think of God/religion. In most religions one is taught to be a peaceful person or especially in Hinduism, you are taught to be non-violent. When you think of "war" you think of conflict. In my opinion the phrase "war" contradicts the phrase "holy" because of the reasons of non violence.
Nowadays, many wars are based on religious differences because a group of people that practice a certain religion want another group that practice a different religion to convert religions. In other words, a group of people that practice one religion want everyone to be like them.
