Vonnegut’s statement is true in some ways, but there are parts that show that he is not true as well. It is true that technology is doing a lot of the work for humans, and the fact that technology is being used for violence. Though the good side of technology is that some types of technology has made life for humans a lot easier. For example, in stead of writing out a letter, and handing the letter to a post office, we can just email who ever we want, and they will receive the mail within 5 minutes. As you can see Kurt Vonnegut is not to fond of technology, but it the picture it shows that he needs glasses, and if there was no technology, what would Kurt Vonnegut do with out his glasses? He probably wouldn’t be able to write his stories. Technology can be good or not so good, but that all depends on how you use it, and how much you rely on it.
